The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant, on My Way Home

Before the disaster, on my way back to my parent’s house in Kawauchi Village, I used to stop my car to take in the view. All I could see then was forest, but now the trees have been cleared away for a facility used to store contaminated water. Although you can hardly see it in the photo, it’s clearly visible in person.
